In all good RPs there are rules . . . and since this RP has the intent of being good there are those pesky rules you all must follow.
Firstly - let's get one thing strait . . . I, Captain_Cloud, am the Game Master . . . that's the guy who has total control of the game and w/e he says goes!
Secondly - Deputy~Leaders are the Game Moderators and they are second in charge, and what they say goes . . . unless of course I say otherwise
The main story line of the RP will take place in 'Announcements' rather than normal messages, and it's been disabled so that only myself or Deputy~Leaders may post those. Anyone may post a normal message and by doing so start a small side RP - but, all the main events, action, and the good vs. evil crap will appear in the Announcements. RPs are not to take place in this Forum (Game HQ), this is for any information on how to RP, questions, etc.
Battle
There are three main battle laws which govern all RP’s that take place in our forum;
Other than that, battle will take place as follows;
That was an example of a basic battle between two people in which no abilities were used. Example2 would have also minused his health as he took damage (the damage would have been that of Examples Weapon Damage which can be found in the Character Sheet section). You may also need to take away mana/stamina if needed.
Also note that you can block or dodge attacks even if your opponent says they hit you in their last action. This is because of the third rule - Don't control your oponents actions. You have to take damage eventually though, because it's impossible for even the best to continuously avoid attacks.
No PK allowed?
Certain maps like Twin City have the words No PK Allowed in their descriptions. This means that you can NOT fight with other characters (this does not include NPC characters) unless of course the battle is taking place in an announcement.
Places like Phoenix Castle though are area's in which you can PK and kill other characters with no limitations~!
The Arena is unique to both of the above in the way that it is a PK area in which you can fight; though with one exception. It is only governed by two of three laws - your character can not die in the arena.
Relationships!?
Yes you can have Relationships in an RP! It's not all about Battle, in fact for many it'll just be about their character hanging out with others~!
We advise that you keep relationships child safe. That means nothing sexual, and if it MUST be done then don't describe it . . . just say they went off to the bedroom xD
Conclusion
Please keep your Character Sheet up to date while you’re RPing. Also remember not to control the actions of your opponents . . . it can become REALLY annoying. Also, if your character dies (HP hits 0) then that character is dead, it’s over . . . Just get over it and make another character.
RPing isn’t all about battle though. Feel free to just do day to day life things, have conversations with characters . . . maybe even start up a relationship or dispute. But please do be prepared for battle . . . and if not then just hide out in a location which says No PK allowed or something along those lines.
